Leaving The Day Job

Leaving the day job through the wonders of affiliate marketing

About

Leaving The Day Job is the blog of Simon Briggs, who previously blogged under the pseudonym of “Monty”.

At the time I created this blog I was trying to leave a day job I hated by becoming an affiliate marketer. The blog followed my thoughts, triumphs and failures and passed along the little bits of advice I managed to gather on the way.

These days I work in a web project manager type role in the public sector and keep my hand in with a little affiliate marketing on the side. It provides me a few extra pennies to spend on shiny gadgets and cold beers. I’m still having thoughts, triumphs and failures on a regular basis and will try to pass them on as best I can.

I’m 33 years old and live in the Midlands with an empty fishtank, a pile of unwashed laundry and too many computers. You’ll find me on Affiliate4U with the username Mainlime
